Giving up on the source...

I have totally forgotten what the 'source' was going to be about so I will have to tackle a new issue.
Shopping.. not the fruit and vegies, meat, household goods sort of sensible and practical sort but the frivolous, crafty and eating out type of shopping.
We visited a section of Chch city yesterday that just makes me want to move NOW! It's so good seeing little treasure troves of alley-way shops with their hand made, locally made wares.
The chocolate shop was a real surprise. Choccies weren't the only feature - you could purchase all sorts of hot and spicy condiments in assorted packets and tins. But the lemon and chilli chocolate took my interest. Would you believe there was also Earl Grey chocolate? Who needs a cup of tea when you can just have a choccie?
Some places are known for their cycle paths and cyclists, Chch has a wall of bicycles  a VERTICAL WALL! Bikes of all types - an old bakers delivery bike; one with metal wheels - no rubber there; a super large rusty old one. Very clever design.
But my piece of (least) resistance - was my new favourite shop, even overtaking Eckersleys in Brisbane as the shop I would like most to own! I know it is like coals to Newcastle but I actually purchased some lovely papers. One very large piece of handmade, textured paper. This shop has an incredible variety of papers, card, envelopes etc for the card maker (It really caters for wedding/party stuff). It's not a scrapbooking shop - which is what I like about it. On one side of the large space is the dream for every artist  a retail shop with every imaginable brush, paint, medium, canvas, mounting board, palette, etc for the beginning or experienced artist.
